Privacy policy

Browsing xG Lab is free and does not require an account. Some optional features (a Pro subscription) need an account and are handled by the third-party providers described below.

What we collect

• Account & sign-in. If you create an account, sign in is handled by our authentication provider (Clerk). They process your email address and, if you choose social sign-in, basic profile information from that provider on our behalf.
• Payments. Pro subscriptions are processed by our payment provider (Polar), who acts as the merchant of record. Polar handles your billing details and payment information; we do not store card numbers.
• Aggregate analytics. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand traffic (e.g. page views). With your consent we also use Google Analytics (see Cookies). These do not identify individual visitors to us.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider may keep standard request logs (IP address, user agent) for security and reliability.

Cookies

The site stores a local preference for light/dark theme in your browser. It is not used for tracking and is not shared.

We also use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. If Google Analytics is enabled, it is loaded only after you acceptthe cookie banner; declining (or ignoring it) means no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered locally in your browser — to change it, clear this site’s data and the banner will appear again.

Third parties

Some images (crests, player photos, flags) and news links load from third-party services, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those resources. See the data sources page for the list of providers.
