Player gradeS–F

A letter for a player's attacking output this season, ranked only against qualified players in the same position (600+ minutes). It averages per-90 percentiles for xG, npxG, shots, goals and key passes, then grades the player's rank among defenders, midfielders or forwards: S is the top 10%, A the next 20%, B and C 20% each, D the next 20% and F the bottom 10%. Goalkeepers are not graded.

On xG Lab: Badge on player pages and the Grade column on the Players table; per-metric letters sit next to each percentile bar.
